Utkal University Directorate of Distance & Continuing Education (DDCE) was founded in 1962 with the aim of providing quality education to large number of working and adult learners. Utkal University Directorate of Distance & Continuing Education is a State University and it is UGC Recognized.

Utkal University Distance Education offers courses such as BA, B.Com, MA, MBA, IMBA, BBA, PG Diploma in Management under Distance Education. It offers MCA, PG Diploma in Banking & Insurance Management, Spoken English and Personality Development Courses under Continuing Education Program.

The University has 15 class rooms, a spacious reading room, and three conference rooms. The Silver Jubilee Building provides quality infrastructure, 100 Computers and 9 Servers. There are more than three hundred general affiliated colleges under the University.

Utkal University DDCE Salient Features

DDCE has facilitated industry academia collaboration. It has collaborated with Genpact, HCL, ICICI Bank Ltd., Infosys and TCS for placement and collaborative academic programs.
DDCE has over 100 Computers and 9 Servers. It is a part of the Utkal University Campus Wide Network and E Governance Project.
DDCE offers BA, B.Com, MA, MBA, IMBA, BBA, PG Diploma in Management under Distance Mode. It also offers MCA, PG Diploma in Banking & Insurance Management, Spoken English and Personality Development Courses under Continuing Education Program.
It has its own building with 30,000 sft. of carpet area for Office, Library, Counseling, Class Rooms , Examination Halls , Conference Halls, Publishing House and Computer Labs with all modern facilities .

Utkal University DDCE Admission Criteria

The eligibility for MBA courses is Bachelor Degree holder in any discipline or equivalent. Applicants are selected through an Entrance Test of 2 hours duration.

The eligibility for MCA course is a graduate from Utkal University or any other University recognized by Utkal University under 10+2+3 pattern with Mathematics/Statistics as a subject at +2 / Graduation level.
